Beautiful light, a genuine connection, and a glimpse into the soul—these are the 3 things I strive to capture in my photography. Even the most ordinary scene can be transformed into something magical when infused with stunning natural light, and a truthful connection with your subject.
This photo session was supposed to be a quick session meant to capture a few family shots and a headshot or 2 of the kidos. I turned out to be one of the best family sessions ever. You never know what to expect with kids. They are so unpredictable. I have had families tell me their child love the camera but on the day of the shoot their little angel is not so angelic. And other time I am told to expect their baby to be a handful and instead they give the performance of their lives for me and the camera. I love it when that happens. I came prepared with all kinds of surprises to keep the kids interested in the photo session and I needed none of them!
This was too good to pass up. I took up all the time I could with these cute boys and got some amazing shots. The location for this session was in the backyard of my in-laws. Who live down the street from me. I love private locations because I am not competing with other photographers and using the same location as everyone else in your area.
