DIY Flower Hair Clips Made Easy / by Rose Jesky

I have seen so many girls walking around with all kind of flowers in their hair some of them look absolutely beautiful and some not so much.  I looked around for some of these flower clips to buy for my girls but I honestly could not spend the money on a such a cheap flower. When I know I can make one myself.

All you need is a hot glue gun, some silk rose petals, (you can get a bag of them in the bridal section of any craft store) some rhinestones and a hair clip if you want to put it on clip.

Start with 3 petals. Place a dab of hot glue on the end of the petal and layer the petals together like shown.

Then turn the petals over and start gluing petals on the back, around in a circle. You can add as many petals as you want, the more you add the bigger the flower will get.

Once you are happy with the size and shape of the flower then you can add the center.  Place a drop of glue in the center if the flower, I use a tulle petal and placed that on top of the glue then the rhinestone.

To embellish the flower a little more use some beaded sprays. You can also find these in the bridal section of the craft store.

Place them on the back of the flower with some glue and cover with a petal.

Glue clip to the back or place it on a headband.  It is easy and pretty.
